Thomas Divine is re-blogging

A mere hour after I ran across Don Burn’s new blog, I read on the PCAUSA network driver development mailing list that Thomas Divine has started blogging again. For those that don’t know Thomas: as nearly as I can tell, he knows everything that is to be known about NDIS. If you do network driver development, you’ve surely benefitted from his www.ndis.com site.

It’s important for me to say that Steve’s comment that I “…know everything that is to be known about NDIS.” is appreciated, but unfounded.

My biggest weakness is that I simply don’t touch the hardware. I’ve never written a miniport, only higher-level components like protocols and filters. I truly admire the NDIS developers who actually do write miniports. They have the deepest insight and take on the really hard developemnt tasks.

I’m just one of several folks on the NTDEV list who take the time to give a newbie a hand from once in a while…

    Thomas
